Daniel Pérez - Chairman of the Board

Class of 1998

With over ten years of experience in Private, Catholic, non-profit schools that work with predominantly underserved families, Danny currently serves as the Executive Director of the NativityMiguel Coalition. He’s previously served as the Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs at La Salle Academy, Principal of St. Aloysius School in Harlem and Principal of Nativity Mission Center. He earned his BA in Sociology and Spanish at the College of the Holy Cross and his Master’s in Education from Fordham University. As a Latino educator, Danny strives to provide transformative opportunities for future generations of the Lower East Side and beyond.

 

Ryan Genato - Finance Chair

Ryan Genato is the Finance Chair and student mentor for The Foresight Project. After graduating Regis High School in 2008, Ryan studied Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and received an MBA from Northeastern University. In his career, Ryan has spanned roles across software engineering, systems engineering, and product management. He is currently a Strategic Alliance Manager with Logitech.

Upon graduating from Nativity, Robinson went on to Xavier HS where he was a part of JROTC program and a member of the X-Squad drill team. He continued his studies at Cornell University, graduating with a degree in Applied Economics and Management, followed by a Masters in Health Administration. Robinson currently works as a Senior Director of Finance at White Plains Hospital and is a past National Board member of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.

Adriel Gutierrez, Vice-Chair

Class of 1998

Adriel Gutierrez attended St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City after graduating from Nativity. He continued to follow his Jesuits roots by attending LeMoyne College, where he obtained a BA in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Adriel worked many summers in Nativity’s Camp Monserrate in Lake Placid, NY. He was also the Director of the Graduate Support Program for New York Nativity. He currently works for the Office of Mental Health as a Case Manager providing transitional services for high school students with disabilities.

 

Cathy Batista

Cathy Batista is an LCSW who has over 15 years of experience working in nonprofits serving vulnerable populations throughout NYC. Cathy currently is the SVP, of Programs and Supportive Services at Covenant House New York. Cathy graduated from St. Michael's Academy class of 1996. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Le Moyne College, and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University. In 2016, she completed the Post-Graduate Executive Leadership Program at Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work. Cathy is a Latina who grew up in the lower east side in NYC and who was profoundly impacted by the opportunities provided by education, mentorship and resources in her community. Cathy strives to improve the quality of opportunities and services provided to young adults throughout NYC to impact and shape the trajectory of their futures.

Christopher Marte

After Graduating Nativity Mission Center, Christopher attended Saint Agnes Boys High School and graduated from LIU Global with a BA in International Economics and Politics. Christopher has worked for CastleOak Securities, International Business Machine (IBM) and Roach & Bishop Law Firm and sat on a few boards for nonprofit organizations. In 2016, Mr. Marte ran for State Committee in the 65 District of New York. Currently, Christopher is a consultant and community activist.

Cysandy Marte attended Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, NY after graduating from Nativity Mission Center. He was later granted the Reiss Mission Scholarship to attend Saint Michael’s College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013, followed by a Post-Baccalaureate in Pre-Medicine in 2016. Currently, Crysandy is a Simulation Facilitator at NYSim (New York Simulation).

 

Kwame Siriboe

Attuned to how international development works, Kwame Siriboe harnesses the power of technology, and thought leadership to bring awareness to public private partnerships in emerging economies and underserved communities. Kwame currently serves as the Associate Director of Finance and Information Technology for Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), a nonpartisan, U.S.-based organization that works to expand international trade and commerce. He oversees all of the organization’s technological matters and is an integral member of the finance team. Prior to joining BCIU, Kwame, oversaw logistics for 80+ computer programming workshops for underserved high school populations held across 7 major U.S. cities. Kwame holds a master’s degree in Public Services Policy and Management from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in Development Sociology from Cornell University.
