Cohort 2 | Career Panel

On May 22, we held a career panel spanning the fields of psychology, engineering, and international affairs. The students heard from Gabrielle Carson, PhD, a clinical psychologist with a private practice; Ricardo Belmontez, Senior Code Consultant and Fire Protection Engineer at Tetra Tech; and Justin Peña, Foreign Commercial Service Officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce. The panelists discussed their respective jobs, how they got there, and the role mentors played in their lives. It was a fun dialogue that got the students thinking about potential majors and tips for professional development.
